Construction Manager/Rock Solid Project Solutions Full Time

Position:

We are looking for the right candidate for a unique Construction Manager position with archaeological/paleontologist background, working with government contracts within U.S. National Parks.  The CM will be required to be housed within an area close to the contracted National park and will vary from project to project. 

Due to the nature of the work, there will be unique possibilities of historic and native discovery.  The projects vary widely from replacing water lines to building pathways and small pedestrian bridges. The CM will be responsible for running meetings, writing meeting minutes, developing agendas, and documenting daily contract performance in both writing and photos. Utilizing CM software and word, excel, Adobe pdf, MS project any other software that may be utilized. Must have knowledge in reading plans and specifications, interpreting and using construction building codes, safety regulations and attend safety meetings with the contractors.

Qualifications:

• Technological knowledge and experience of CM Software Management programs and ability to use MS Teams, Microsoft Outlook package, Adobe PDF, MS Project and other software programs utilized for construction management services.
• Must have ability to walk or climb on a daily basis to observe contract performance.
• Understanding of Construction contracts and plans as well as ability to understand cost estimates, prime/subcontractor labor, proposals, and document negotiations between the Government and Construction Contractor for the technical scope requirements.

Salary/Benefits:

$30-40/hr plus per diem
