Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. (CRA) seeks a Geophysical Archaeologist for our Lexington, Kentucky, office. We are looking for a dedicated professional seeking a permanent, full-time position. This position is intended for a qualified individual who will be part of our archaeology and geophysics and remote sensing teams. The candidate would ideally split time between our archaeology and geophysical departments dependent on project needs.

DESCRIPTION
With offices in eight states, CRA conducts all phases of archaeological investigations across much of the United States. The geophysics and remote sensing program at CRA conducts a variety of projects throughout the United States and employs cutting-edge data collection and processing techniques. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Anthropology or Geosciences with a background in anthropological archaeology, and a minimum of 1 year of experience with near-surface geophysical field and processing methods. The candidate will be expected to perform archaeological surveys and excavations and execute archaeo-geophysical surveys involving a range of techniques including but not limited to GPR, magnetometry, EMI, and electrical resistance. Projects will also involve the use of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Geophysical project assignments will involve data collection, and assisting with processing data, creating graphical outputs, and preparing detailed reports. It is imperative that candidates be able to work 8 to 10 hour days in a variety of field conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of these positions.
