Overview
As a Senior Archaeologist, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing archaeological projects, conducting research, and contributing to the understanding of historical civilizations and cultures. This senior-level position requires a comprehensive understanding of archaeological methods, project management skills, and the ability to mentor and guide junior archaeologists. This role requires a combination of leadership, project management, and regulatory compliance skills to ensure the effective preservation and management of cultural resources in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Experience Length (in years)
Possesses degree (Master’s level or higher) in anthropology, archaeology, or related field required.
Secretary of the Interior qualified in Archaeology.
Minimum 3 years of experience in CRM with one year of project management.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with Section 106 and National Register processes.
Ability to use GPS units and ArcGIS.
Demonstrated ability to carry projects to completion.
Excellent teaching, written, and verbal communication skills.
Supervise and manage 4-5 team members.
