Architectural Historian / Project Manager – Mid Level
Brockington and Associates is seeking a mid-level field architectural historian and project manager based in our Atlanta, GA office for architectural history and archival project work throughout the US.

Minimum education: MA/MHP/MS in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field.
Minimum experience: Two to four years of experience conducting and managing architectural history projects in the cultural resources management industry or related field.
You must have the ability to:
· Conduct fieldwork – including historic resource surveys and evaluations using National Register criteria;
· Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources;
· Lead and participate in complex projects involving multidisciplinary project teams;
· Effectively discuss projects with colleagues, clients, and review agencies;
· Prepare and manage budgets and schedules; and
· Write professional technical reports and publications.
Frequent out-of-town travel, physical labor, and time spent in outdoor conditions are requirements of this job. You should have an applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and a working familiarity of other environmental statutes and regulations. We are particularly interested in candidates with cross-training in archaeology and/or interest in both architectural history and archaeology. Experience with National Register nominations and conducting oral histories is a plus.
You must be able to work as a member of a diverse team, manage projects and people, and complete other delegated project tasks. You should possess strong communication skills, work professionally with clients and government agencies, and be able to supervise the work of others.

For this position, annual salary range is $56,000 to $67,000 or commensurate with experience. We offer a generous company benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, life, 401(k), and paid time off.
