Description
If this sounds like you, The Montgomery County Department of Parks Archaeology Program is the place you want to be! We are seeking a creative and energetic Assistant Summer Archaeology Camp Director to work with children and teens ages 6 – 15, who will assist in running the camp to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
The Archaeology Program oversees the stewardship and analysis of buried cultural resources within Montgomery County Park properties. The Archaeology Program strives to make the diverse history of Montgomery County’s past accessible to all people, to disseminate the interpretation of archaeological resources through volunteer programing and public outreach.
The Archaeology Camps run from June 17 – August 9, 2024. Candidate would work two weeks prior and one week after camp sessions for a total of ten weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
There is no camp July 1 – 5, 2024.
