Field Technicians/ASC Group Full Time Temporary

ASC Group, Inc., a cultural and natural resources consulting firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We have immediate openings for Archaeology Field Technicians for projects located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan starting the third week of September.  These include 10-day survey projects on the Mississippi River in western Illinois and in south central Pennsylvania, near Gettysburg National Military Park. There are also forthcoming data recovery excavations in Ohio. Field technicians will be working under the supervision of a Field Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator. We have ongoing and future projects that should see work through the late fall and early winter.

Minimum requirements include an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field; field school or archaeological field experience (previous work in Cultural Resource Management preferred); good organizational skills; and ability to maintain neat and accurate field notes. We pay a competitive hourly rate. You must provide personal PPE like gloves and boots. Other required PPE will be provided.
