SEARCH is seeking multiple Archaeological Technicians to support upcoming and ongoing archaeological surveys and excavation projects throughout the United States. The positions are full-time on a temporary basis.
SEARCH archaeological technicians have the opportunity to work throughout the Unites States and occasionally internationally. Specific rotation schedules may include 10/4s, 6/1s or 5/2s depending on project needs. We can accommodate for time-off requests with acceptable notice.
Starting hourly wage ranges from $20-$22 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. Applicants on an archaeology track, but not meeting qualification requirements may be considered for paid internships at a lower range until they qualify for an Archaeological Technician level role.
Travel time is paid, including mid-project travel for breaks. Travel days are considered part of the rotation. Lodging is always single room accommodations and SEARCH pays per diem (no receipts needed) at $50/night and $25 on demobilization days.
