AllStar Ecology (ASE), a multi-disciplinary ecological consulting and contracting firm; is seeking a Project Archaeologist to work out of its headquarters in Fairmont, WV. The chosen applicant will be expected to contribute to our cultural resource services and to work with a team of accomplished archaeologists, biologists, and ecologists on a variety of projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. ASE has a casual workplace with competitive benefits and flexible hours that encourages employee initiative to grow our services and develop professionally.
Responsibilities include archaeological and architectural fieldwork and report preparation, while coordinating with other staff throughout to ensure the quality of data, fieldwork, and paperwork. On-the-job training will be provided, but the chosen applicant is expected to have enough professional experience and knowledge to begin contributing to projects shortly after hire. The chosen applicant can expect to be fast-tracked to a Principal Investigator role, if committed to professional development and learning about the industry from our experienced staff.
