Field Technicians/Resi Solutions On Call

Resi Solutions is seeking one or more on-call field technicians to support our expanding operations in New Mexico and Texas. Work is expected to be statewide in New Mexico, with a focus on the southeastern portion of the state. Wage for the minimum qualifications will be $23/hr, but we are willing to discuss higher wages for additional experience or skills. The need is immediate.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.A. in Anthropology, History, or related field (field experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree)
• Demonstrated field skills (site recording, mapping, shovel testing, artifact collection, excavation, etc.)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions (e.g., rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures).
• Clean driving record.
• Must be willing to explore new tools and methods, and be open to learning non-standard technology.
• Good organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• Residence in southern New Mexico or West Texas. Location is flexible.

Desirable qualifications, not required:

• Part 107 remote pilot certificate
• Experience with open source GIS software and geodatabases – QGIS, Mergin Maps, etc
• Technical writing or GIS experience
