Location: Remote
Environmental Corporation of America has an immediate need for a Secretary of the Interior Qualified Archaeologist. Although ECA is based in Alpharetta, GA, employees are not required to move to Georgia and can work remotely throughout the United States. We are seeking one Field Archaeologist for infrastructure projects to include, but not limited to: transportation, telecommunications, and transmission/pipeline. Candidates must meet the Secretary of the Interior Archaeology Qualification Standards which include a Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or closely related field; at least 1 year of full-time professional experience or equivalent specialized training in archaeological research; administration or management, at least 4 months of supervised field and analytic experience in general North American archaeology; and demonstrated ability to carry research to completion. In addition, a professional in prehistoric archaeology shall have at least one year of full-time professional experience at a supervisory level in the study of archaeological resources of the prehistoric period. A professional in historic archaeology shall have at least one year of full-time professional experience at a supervisory level in the study of archaeological resources of the historic period. Prior experience with North American archaeology is preferred. Interest in environmental studies (NEPA) is also a plus. Travel will be required.

The position is a salaried full-time position and will remain open until filled. Starting salary would range between $45,000 and $65,000 depending on experience and location.
