Tallgrass Archaeology, LLC. is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a temporary full-time archaeological field technician for Phase I, II, and III projects. The position will be based out of the Tallgrass Archaeology office in Iowa City, but fieldwork will occur across the state of Iowa.
Pay rate is $18-$20/ hour, commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field with prior coursework in archaeology, prehistory, and history.
- Archaeological field school in North America.
- Ability to work all day standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
