Archaeological Technicians (Temporary, Seasonal)
Wages: $18 - $21/hour, depending on experience level
Per Diem: We provide cash per diem up front for food. We’ll also cover your hotel lodging.

Wapsi Valley Archaeology needs to hire archaeological technicians for field projects this November and December. We have a number of large Phase I and Phase II projects to complete in eastern and central Iowa before the snow hits. 
This position requires a B.A. or B.S. in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a closely related field. Experience with archaeological fieldwork in the Midwest preferred.  
Who are we? 
We provide archaeology and architectural history services to federal, state, and local governments and their representatives to help them responsibly manage and make good decisions regarding preservation, protection, and treatment of archaeological sites. We conduct archaeological, anthropological, and historical research to further an understanding of humanity through the study of past cultures and history.

Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and other nearby Midwestern states.
