Location: United States, PA, Philadelphia, PA, New Jersey, and Southeastern New York/NYC
Richard Grubb & Associates (RGA) is seeking to hire an archaeologist for monitoring and/or archaeological survey projects located in Philadelphia, PA, New Jersey, and Southeastern New York/NYC. Although this position is primarily dedicated to monitoring projects, as workload allows, there would be additional opportunities to work on other types of projects and survey phases as well.
Applicants should be available to travel to project sites within Philadelphia or New Jersey. Projects will be located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast and may also be located in other parts of the U.S. and its territories. Prior work experience in the Mid Atlantic or Northeast region is preferred.
The pay range for this position is 29.00 – 36.00 per hour depending on qualifications. The anticipated monitoring projects have per diem and accommodation available. The monitoring projects may require night or weekend work which will be paid at a range of 45.00 – 54.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
This is a full-time position, and compensation includes a complete benefits package. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; group medical, dental, and vision insurance; and a 401k plan with employer contribution.
