Job Summary
Trileaf is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Archaeological Technician to be based out of the Towson, MD branch office. The successful candidate for this position will possess at least a bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field, plus successful completion of an archaeological field school. Projects will be completed throughout the Mid-Atlantic States.
Responsibilities and Duties
The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file and database reviews for above ground and archaeological resources, supervised Phase I archaeological surveys, and assisting in the writing and production of cultural resource reports.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
Completion of an archaeological field school, or similar archaeological internship, with experiential training in archaeological field methods.
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Valid Driver License
Capable of field work
Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
Good computer skills
Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence

Anticipated starting salary between $40,000 and $50,000 (dependent upon experience).
