Geo Visions, Inc. is seeking a Principal Investigator for full-time, permanent employment. Work location is between our corporate office in Portland, Oregon, and our field office in Warm Springs, Oregon. Occasional regional travel is required. This is a regular, fulltime, salaried position that will report to the Cultural Resources Program Manager. Geo Visions is a tribally-owned firm that offers
unique and exciting projects across the region.Geo Visions core mission is to improve the quality and public benefit of cultural studies, with an emphasis on the studies’ relationship(s) to tribal and other descendant communities, whose culturally affiliated places, resources, and material remains are the subject of study.
The successful candidate will become a core member of our multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for successfully proposing and executing projects, directing field crews, leading all aspects of project implementation and execution, and writing up and presenting results.

Working Conditions:
The position works primarily within a professional office environment and secondarily in the field. The role involves use of standard computer and office equipment, tablets and GPS units, and topographic maps and field orientation equipment. Occasional strenuous activity may be required to access project sites, transport equipment to project sites, and assist in occasional field activities as a mentor to junior staff.
