MUSEUM CURATOR II – DIABLO RANGE DISTRICT / CULTURAL RESOURCES / SAN JUAN BAUTISTA STATE HISTORIC PARK
The reporting location for this position is the San Juan Bautista State Historic Park. This position will work under the general direction of the Cultural Resource Program Manager (Sup, Cultural Resources Program).
The Museum Curator II will have wide-ranging, complex responsibilities including oversight of staff in Collections Management with related personnel matters, caring for and documenting San Juan Bautista SHP, Benicia Capitol SHP and other Diablo Range District unit collections. This position is responsible for responding to public and scholarly inquiries. Assists Cultural Resource Program Manager overseeing conservation treatments and collection to other museum collections within the district as well as overseeing preparation of collections and transportation for loans. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual.
This position requires a valid California Class C Driver’s license.
