Project management experience and understanding of archaeological methods are a must for this position. This position is full-time, regular and eligible for all benefits provided by Metcalf (health insurance, 401k plan, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, etc.) with a salary that starts at $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a flexible schedule and remote work.
Primary responsibilities are structured around the procurement and execution of technical projects. Project Directors work in collaboration with a Project Manager to successfully execute technical projects. Project Directors are a critical point of contact with clients and agencies and are accountable for providing excellent and responsive customer service. Responsibilities extend to ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, permits, and statutes. Consistent monitoring of schedules, budgets, and field operations also comprise duties expected of the role. Our Project Directors not only supervise but contribute to technical aspects of projects as tasks are assigned.
