Job Description
 
PaleoWest is seeking on-call Field Archaeologists for various international projects during the months of May, June, July, and August. The position will include participation in one to two months of pedestrian survey or archaeological monitoring in the Middle East. PaleoWest will provide transportation and accommodations. PaleoWest is a technology-forward company that places an emphasis on high-quality data collection and archaeological standards. Experience and adaptability using technology is encouraged. Fieldwork may include adverse environmental conditions, including hot temperatures and challenging terrain for sustained durations. Experience with the archaeology of the Mediterranean and Middle East is encouraged.
Must have certification from an accredited archaeological field school or have demonstrated equivalent archaeological experience. Currently enrolled in college, or a B.A or B.S degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related field is preferred
