Off duty employees also enjoy attending regional events in Las Vegas or Los Angeles, exploring the local desert roads/trails/peaks, camping in surrounding high elevation forest land, skiing in Mammoth, and recreating in Yosemite and Sequoia. The Park values co-management with the Timbisha Shoshone Tribe and archaeologists that join our team can expect to work with the local THPO and tribal monitors. It’s a big park (3.4 million acres!) with a small park vibe. Come join us!
