ESI is looking for immediate temporary archaeological field technicians with availability to assist in a Virginia-based Phase I Cultural Resource project.
Compensation & Benefits:
a total hourly rate of $17.50 (overtime paid after 40 hours at $26.25 an hour)
single hotel rooms provided for each crew member
a meal (travel and field days) per diem rate of $45
mobilization/demobilization time paid up to 6 hours each way and mileage up to 400 miles at .62 per mile.
Qualifications:
BA in anthropology, archaeology, or related field.
Completed an archaeological field school as part of their education.
Able to travel and work in the field for periods up to 6 days at a time.
Comfortable working in remote locations on projects that require walking and carrying 20+ lbs. gear for extended periods of time.
