Archaeological technicians are needed at the Louisiana Public Archaeology Lab at UL Lafayette to assist the Project Director with Phase II site testing and Phase III data recovery at sites in Kisatchie National Forest. These temporary appointments will involve up to 20 weeks or approximately 5 months of fieldwork to be scheduled in 5 to 10-day installments from October 2022 through August of 2023. Compensation will be $21.00 per hour. Lodging and local transportation will be provided during fieldwork.
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Anthropology or related discipline required, with an archaeology field school, or comparable experience in archaeological fieldwork and excavation, including survey, site testing, and/or data recovery.
