Job Description The Associate Archaeologist will oversee work independently and with a larger crew on archaeological surveys, archaeological testing, and archaeological data recovery projects. The Associate Archaeologist must be able to walk several miles daily, over all types of terrain, and be able to excavate in a variety of conditions. Travel throughout the Southeast is anticipated (primarily throughout Florida). Familiarity with artifacts and features common to the American Southeast is required. Successful candidates must meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards, Code of Federal Regulations 36 CFR Part 61 for Archaeology. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and project bonuses will be offered for exceptional performance. Qualifications
